Installing your Daisy Pool Cover
Your Daisy Pool Cover will be supplied in one piece, to the correct size and including any step areas, ready to go straight onto your pool.
All that you need to do is trim it carefully to the exact shape of your pool with a pair of normal household scissors.
Follow these easy steps:
- Ensure the pool water level is correct.
- Lay the cover bubble side down on the pool water (smooth side up).
- Remove any air pockets beneath the cover with your pool broom.
- Cut your cover with a normal pair of scissors, to the shape of your pool. When finished, we recommend you leave around 75mm (3") rising up the side of your pool. While cutting ensure you watch the side you are not cutting (or have help) as it is easy to accidentally pull the cover away from the opposite side while you are cutting—and this can result in the cover being too small. We recommend you do a “rough” cut first around 100mm larger than the pool, then finally trim the cover to its final size of 75mm larger than your pool.
It’s a simple job that can be completed by one person in no more than half an hour.
Installing your Daisy Roller System
Daisy Buddy and UTC Roller Systems feature a universal tube length, so they require fitting to suit your pool size as part of the installation procedure.
Daisy 5 Star Roller Systems are supplied to the correct size for your pool, and their pool cover attachment systems and cord fittings are streamlined for simple installation and easy adjustment.
In both cases installation is a straightforward job which can be tackled successfully by almost anyone.
The only tools you will require are:
- A power drill
- A Phillips screwdriver
- A soft-faced hammer or mallet
Everything else you will need (including drill bits) is included with the Daisy Roller System.
